Call it spur of the moment but as a city guy I was always curious about cotton fields. Like what would happen if I just went and just picked cotton. Would someone chase me down? So to my amazement yesterday I saw cotton fields springing up so I said to myself, "One of these days, I'm gonna pick one." That day came today. While driving to get dinner I passed a cotton field off the side of the road. I turned around, parked my car beside the field, walked up to the "bush" (not sure what you call it) and the thrill came over me and I picked one.
